Nedz Original
Soft, Traditional-Style Bedding

Nedz Original creates a soft, traditional style bed that rivals shavings for absorbency - a traditional bedding with none of the traditional disadvantages.

Raw material:
Wheat straw (moisture tested to below 15%mc)

Nedz Bed Formula:
All natural and herbal ingredients - no chemical additives

Contains Manuka which has anti viral and anti bacterial properties
Is bitter tasting to discourage bed eating but is also nontoxic
Contains a fly and midge repellent with insecticidal properties
Has a fresh aroma creating a pleasant atmosphere in the stable

Usage:

Day to Day:
Works best fully mucked out each day, but can be deep littered if preferred as it is as absorbent as shavings.

High Absorbency Bedding

Nedz Pro is extremely absorbent and so quick and easy to muck out, requiring a full muck out just once a week.

Day to day:
Nedz Pro can be mucked out fully every day, but works best by establishing a good bed of 3 - 4" depth which lets wet filter through to the base, leaving the top dry.

Remove droppings daily and wet once a week then add one bale.

Throwing the bed up the banks at the end of the week will quickly separate any droppings that still remain in the bed. Nedz Pro decomposes very quickly compared with woodbased products, creating minimal waste and keeping muck heaps to a minimum.

Following on from our other popular products Nedz Orginal and Nedz Pro – the team at Nedz Bed have been working behind the scenes with our associates in the USA to bring the UK a revolutionary new bedding for horses. Introducing Nedz Advance...

Raw Material:
Nedz Advance remains in keeping with the other Nedz bedding – being manufactured from high quality straw. However the process and final product is very different. The straw is chopped and ground to produce very short, highly absorbent fibres which are sterilized using steam and treated to control moulds and spores, before being pressed in to a pellet and packaged.

Benefits:
Virtually dust free, making it ideal for horses with respiratory problems
Treated to discourage bed eating

Nedz Advance increases in volume as your horse is stabled on it, and creates a comfortable, sturdy base for your horse to stand and lie on.

Capable of absorbing five times its weight in liquid, meaning wet patches are kept to a minimum and ammonia levels virtually non-existent.
The straw pellets will rot down within one month - which leads to less waste – on average a 60% to 70% reduction will be seen over conventional bedding.
Waste removal costs are kept to a minimum and muck heaps will be smaller in size.
Can be mixed with existing Nedz products for an even more superior bedding.
Ideal for use with rubber matting, or on its own.

Usage:
In an average 12ft x 12ft stable six to eight bags of Nedz Advance will be needed to set up the initial bed, the muck and wet patches should then be removed daily, but the bed should not be turned over, and water should not be added.
