Shires Bevel Bit With Copper Lozenge

Shires Training Bit With Lozenge

Shires Blue Sweet Iron Loose Ring With Mullen

Mullen mouth design provides stability in the horse's mouth with a medium port for tongue space and pressure relief. Mouthpiece thickness is 12mm, and cheek height is 65mm. Blue sweet iron mouthpieces oxidize easily, creating warmth and a sweet taste that aids in bit acceptance and salivation. Blue color of sweet iron fades with use. Stainless steel cheeks are chosen for durability, ease of cleaning, and rust resistance.

Shires Chifney Bit

Chifley bit is not suitable for use while riding and requires careful handling. Ideal for horses that are challenging to lead, with the lead rope attaching to the loose ring at the back of the bit. Chifley bit strap is available separately for added convenience. Stainless steel is the predominant material used for bits due to its durability, ease of cleaning, lack of taste, and resistance to rust.
