LeMieux- tried and tested!!

Here at Oakfield we believe in our brands and only stock products we use and trust. LeMieux is a new brand to us in terms of stocking it however many of our staff members have been using it for a long time and highly recommend it as a quality brand.
My tack room is home to numerous Lemieux items ranging from saddlecloths, bandages, boots, head collars and rugs (the list goes on haha) all of which I use on a daily basis and love! The saddle pads are just the right thickness being enough that you feel it’s enough comfort for your horse but not too thick so that it alters the fit of your saddle. They have a lovely ‘bamboo’ lining which is really soft and prevents rubbing to your horse whilst being breathable and moisture wicking. They also have a harder material near the girth area to protect your pad which I think is extremely good and you don’t see it on many other numnahs. I have support boots, over reach boots, brushing boots and bandages, all of which offer great support and are long lasting quality which I turnout out in, ride in and stable my horse in knowing his legs are protected with good quality boots. I also have the Carbon cooler which I couldn’t live without in the summer months! It is a godsend!! It has mesh sides whilst being covered along the back with the bamboo lining and carbon cooling system which ensures muscles don’t go cold too fast causing soreness! The four seasons is also fab! I use this as a travel rug when it’s cold or an under rug in the stable! It screams luxury and is well worth the money!

I find the fit of Lemieux is bang on in all aspects. In regards to the rugs, They are roomy enough on the chest without pulling and causing rubs whilst being a nice depth ,the numnahs come in either s/m and then large, (I use the large on my 17.5″ saddle for reference). The boots are again true to size across the range.

I have been using the Lemieux range for the last few years and still find items to be looking as new as they did when I bought them. They wash up amazing without going faded/bobbly like some materials do. I don’t find that they shrink when being washed and really are a lovely brand to use!

As I said earlier, many of the staff here use Lemieux and we are never disappointed in the quality of the items and really do recommend it!
