How to put up electric fencing for horses
Before installation, ensure you have all the necessary equipment at the correct height to contain your horses. We recommend the electric fence post be at least 140cm (4ft 6) high.

Install the fence posts using a sledgehammer or post driver to ensure the posts are securely in the ground.

Attach insulators to the fence posts.

Fit the rope or tape by attaching it through the insulators and pulling them tight.

Install gate handle insulators to ensure the full paddock is secure.

Install grounding rods to earth the circuit.

Install the energiser by connecting the positive connector clip to the fence and earthing the fence by connecting it to the grounding rod.

Put up warning signs, especially if the fence is accessible to the public.
