What do tendon boots do for horses?
Tendon horse boots support and protect the tendons, soft tissues and ligaments during exercise and jumping. Show jumping is particularly demanding on a horse’s legs, so providing extra support through tendon boots helps absorb the shock and lessen the impact on your horse’s joints. Tendon horse boots also help prevent brushing injuries while jumping or doing flatwork by ensuring the legs don’t knock into one another, which can cause bruising and pain for your companion.
What do fetlock boots do for horses?
Fetlock horse boots protect the fetlock joint on a horse’s hind legs from brushing injuries. They are commonly used during jumping and flatwork, helping to absorb some impact when a horse’s hoof lands on the ground. Tendon and fetlock horse boots are commonly worn together to provide complete protection for your horse’s lower legs.
