LeMieux Vector Balance Stirrup - Carbon. The LeMieux Vector stirrups represent a new generation of stirrups that are technically sophisticated and lightweight while maintaining the traditional design that LeMieux is known for. Since they are made of aviation grade aluminium, which has an excellent strength to weight ratio and weighs only 419g per stirrup, they are lighter than other stirrups on the market without sacrificing stability.

The Balance Stirrup's ergonomic footplate has a cross-track grip surface, is tilted 5 degrees, and is mounted atop a layer of dynamic polymer with a 70% compression rating to absorb impact. When jumping, impact and vibrations are absorbed at the point of landing, reducing wear and tear on the knee and ankle as well as the strain on the muscles and tendons in the legs. Maximum boot security is provided by integrated hardened steel pins. A twin balance arch mechanism that supports the footplate uniformly distributes the weight over the base of the stirrup frame. The rider may find the best foot angle and recover a lost stirrup more easily since the frame's apex is recessed and offset, encouraging a 45 14 outward direction.

A two-stage release method with an integrated hinged arm prevents unintended opening. After under extreme strain, as as when landing over a fence, the spring-loaded arm locks into the base of the main frame, distributing the rider's weight equally across the stirrup and preventing the outside from sinking and flexing. The stirrup's arm releases when pressure is applied to it, allowing the foot to exit and preventing it from becoming stuck. According to tests, the stirrup arm's breakout force was 36 N, or 3.62 kg, which is sufficient resistance to prevent accidental opening but will release when needed.

Returns

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. 

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 30 days for a full refund, including the cost of initial delivery if all items ordered are returned together. Full returns information can be found on the returns form sent inside each parcel and refunds are usually made within 2-3 working days after we have received the item back. You can take your parcel to the post office and request a tracked delivery service. For larger parcels, you may find it cheaper to use an online service such as Parcels2Go. Use a service offering adequate compensation - this will ensure that you are covered in the unlikely event of your parcel going missing in transit. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or wrongly described. 

For the return of goods other than those reported as damaged on delivery or goods sent incorrectly, the cost of returning the goods will be at your own expense. Initial charges for shipping to U.K and EU addresses will be refunded. The cost of shipping to other destinations may be refunded in accordance with relevant legislation. 

If an incorrect/faulty item has been sent we will happily refund the cost of your postage of the item and send out a replacement on receipt of your return. 

Please note unworn items must be accompanied by the original packaging and must have the original tags included. Please ensure any footwear is returned in the original packaging. 

For health and safety reasons, please make sure all items returned are clean, dry and hair free. 

Any goods returned should be unused and in a saleable condition.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder

From the 1st November Oakfield offers an extended returns period for purchases upto the 7th January.

Exchanges

Please indicate what product and size you would like by indicating the product code and size on the returns slip. If your new exchange item is cheaper than your original purchase, we will automatically refund you the difference. If your new exchange is more expensive than your original purchase, we recommend that you request a full refund for the original item, and then place a new order for the replacement item. In the unfortunate occasion that the item you would like to exchange for is out of stock, we will automatically send you a refund.

Once your return has made its way back to us, please allow us up to 5 working days to begin to process a refund or exchange. If you have mislaid your receipt - Don't worry. Simply attach a covering letter with your name, full address and your requirements.

HTTPS and HSTS for secure connections

Stripe forces HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL), including our public website and the Dashboard to ensure secure connections:

• Stripe.js is served only over TLS.
• Stripe’s official libraries connect to Stripe’s servers over TLS and verify TLS certificates on each connection.

We regularly audit the details of our implementation, including the certificates we serve, the certificate authorities we use, and the ciphers we support. We use HSTS to ensure that browsers interact with Stripe only over HTTPS. Stripe is also on the HSTS preloaded lists for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Sensitive data and communication encryption

All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plain text card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static allowlist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services including our API and website.

Payments

We accept all major credit, debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna and Clearpay which are processed by Stripe. We also accept payments via your Paypal or Amazon accounts. To help you keep track of your account activity, PayPal and Amazon send an email confirmation of every account transaction. At no point during any part of your transaction do we store any card details.
