A lightweight rug will benefit turned-out horses when the temperature starts to dip. Clipped horses will need a lightweight rug when the temperature hits 10-15℃, whereas unclipped horses will only require some extra warmth at around 5-10℃ thanks to their extra fur keeping them warm. Shires lightweight turnout rugs are ideal for brisk temperatures or windy, rainy conditions. They will keep your companion warm, dry and comfortable while they enjoy time outdoors.
