Oakfield Essentials
This collection of healthy horse treats is perfect for positive reinforcement and stable enrichment. They are handy tools for teaching your horse new tricks during schooling and giving them motivation to learn. Horse treats can also keep them occupied in the stable, especially if they are there for extended periods.
How to use horse treats as positive reinforcement
There are many ways horse treats can be used to assist in training. You can use them to teach your horse to touch a target placed at various heights, which leads to them being able to lower their head on command. Positive reinforcement also helps your horse become comfortable being touched in different areas, learning new skills and reinforcing correct exercise. They can also be used for dynamic stretching, which helps to improve motion in your horse’s flexion, extension and lateral movements.
