Cool Balancer is designed for horses and ponies that need extra topline and condition and that are in light to medium work. Cool Balancer is a Non-Heating, cereal-grain-free formula; with low levels of sugar and starch, plus good quality protein to promote topline. Cool Balancer provides a very palatable, safe and effective way to improve condition and topline without adding excess calories to the diet. Cool Balancer is an economical feed balancer for those horses that do not need a hoof supplement and are not working hard or showing or stressed. Feeding Cool Balancer improves the amount of nutrients that a horse can extract from his feed in very similar ways to Comprehensive Feed Balancer (p.8). Because the horse can extract more nutrients from forage the amount of concentrate that needs to be fed can be reduced. This benefits digestion and is a more natural way of feeding leading to a more relaxed horse. The forage to concentrate ratio is also improved because Cool Balancer is very nutrient-dense. It is fed in very small quantities, for example just 500g (approximately two TopSpec measures) a day for a typical 15.2hh middleweight weighing 500kg. A small amount of hard feed obviously leaves more space in the digestive system for forage than a large hard feed. Because it contains very low levels of sugar and starch and is fed in very low amounts, the chance of excess sugars and starch overflowing from the foregut to the hindgut and causing a microbial imbalance leading to acidic conditions, is virtually eliminated. Therefore the chances of a horse behaving badly due to acid guts are minimised. Cool Balancer contains generous levels of B vitamins, some of which have long been considered helpful for their relaxing effect. It also contains helpful levels of anti-oxidants which can certainly help to neutralise the effects of stress in a horse and by so doing, may help him relax. Magnesium is included at 0.6% which will contribute 3g of magnesium per day to the diet of a 500kg horse. This may help some horses to concentrate better, particularly when stressed.

Secure your integration

To learn more about PCI compliance and establishing good security practices, check out our integration security guide.

A PCI-certified auditor has audited Stripe. We’re a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we use the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe.

HTTPS and HSTS for secure connections

Stripe forces HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL), including our public website and the Dashboard to ensure secure connections:

• Stripe.js is served only over TLS.
• Stripe’s official libraries connect to Stripe’s servers over TLS and verify TLS certificates on each connection.

We regularly audit the details of our implementation, including the certificates we serve, the certificate authorities we use, and the ciphers we support. We use HSTS to ensure that browsers interact with Stripe only over HTTPS. Stripe is also on the HSTS preloaded lists for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Sensitive data and communication encryption

All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plain text card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static allowlist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services including our API and website.

Payments

We accept all major credit, debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna and Clearpay which are processed by Stripe. We also accept payments via your Paypal or Amazon accounts. To help you keep track of your account activity, PayPal and Amazon send an email confirmation of every account transaction. For more information visit their respective websites www.paypal.co.uk, www.Amazon.co.uk.

At no point during any part of your transaction do we store any card details.

No personal details are passed on to anyone. The exception to this is to enable your delivery to be made by one of our delivery partner companies.

Please read our Privacy Policy before browsing/making a purchase from our site.
