Do horses need fly rugs?
Horse fly rugs are essential, particularly during hot weather. Flies, bugs and insects are irritating to horses. They can also carry nasty bacteria, causing infection if your horse gets bitten. Some horses are sensitive to bugs and can suffer from allergies through the summer if they have nothing to guard against insects. Horse fly rugs offer much-needed protection and relief from annoying insects, meaning your horse can enjoy their peaceful field time! Pair a horse fly rug with flyrepellent; your companion will thank you.
