What is the difference between saddlecloths and saddle pads?
To the untrained eye, saddlecloths and pads look very similar, but they do have their differences, which are worth knowing for equestrians. Though saddle pads serve a similar purpose, they tend to be much thicker and heavier than saddlecloths. Another difference is that saddlecloths usually have nylon straps to attach to the saddle for a more secure fit.
