Hello, Saturday 18th March the Dressage was on at Myerscough and so we decided to give it a try! I’d never competed there before so it was a new venue for me and Ced and knowing the international arena is quite spooky I was a little nervous🙈 First of all it was Intro A which we have done numerous times and I use it as a warm up test for him so he’s seen the arena and had time to settle but to my shock horror both of his tests... As you may be aware we have recently had plans approved for our superstore extension! In order for  This to begin we had to knockdown the old stables/buildings. Here are some pictures of the work which is ongoing! Just so you are aware, we are open as normal! 👷🏼🐴🚧

The weather was fab and we managed to get round with the sun shining which topped the day off! It is a 7 mile off road track with has an all weather surface with a mix of xc fences from around 70cm upwards. We had entered the Intro & the Prelim as he is riding 5 so I know we are working confidently at the intro level but not so much with the prelim as we still have some baby wobbles! We went in to the intro mid storm, (which for the fair weather riders out there you’ll... Read More

Here at Oakfield we believe in our brands and only stock products we use and trust. LeMieux is a new brand to us in terms of stocking it however many of our staff members have been using it for a long time and highly recommend it as a quality brand. My tack room is home to numerous Lemieux items ranging from saddlecloths, bandages, boots, head collars and rugs (the list goes on haha) all of which I use on a daily basis and love! The saddle pads are just the... Read More
